About Us

Who are we? We are a congregation involved with our community and our world! We sponsor many groups including Scout Groups, Mom and Tots, Community Adult Living, AA and Al-Anon family groups. We are an active partner in supplying food to Fareshare Food Bank. We partner with world organizations that help with flood, earthquake and disaster relive and support refugees. Our minister serves as Chaplain to the 300 FIre-Fighters in Oakville.

Hopedale Presbyterian Church began as a church extension Congregation in 1957 in the town of Oakville, Ontario. In 1959 the Congregation moved to a new building on the present site. Hopedale has been an integral part of the community for over 50 years. The congregation has witnessed the community grow and evolve. The annual Winter Wonderland Bazaar is a fixture in the community. Additionally the congregation partners with many local ministries as it seeks to live out the message of Jesus Christ.

Hopedale is a friendly congregation that welcomes all into our midst.  We enjoy a variety of worship styles and look to be inspired by those leading and participating.  Hopedale prides itself on being a congregation that looks after its own church family as well as reaching out to others in our community and the world.
